Although this chant was reproduced in several Temple publications its origin remains obscure. Even Karen Thomas had little to say about it other than the fact that it was “one of our oldest and most special”.
It is something of a catechism for the group and reveals the level of devotion that was directed towards the leader personally, a common theme in many New Religious Movements. Its simplicity and mysterious, transcendental promise meant that it was often repeated to would-be converts within minutes of them showing an interest.
